Job Description Because this role involves a combination of
collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form
of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and
remotely.For this position, we could consider someone working out
of any one for the major Electronic System BAE System locations:
Austin TX, Endicott NY, Fort Wayne IN, Greenlawn NY, Huntsville AL,

strategic and thought leadership to Project, Program, and Portfolio
Management for the ES Sector with annual sales of approximately $7B
and over 600 program managers. With our robust offering of

limitless.This role within the Px team will provide strategic and
thought leadership of Proposal Management Excellence for the ES
Sector. This includes the following responsibilities:
- Identify, document, and spread proposal management best
practices throughout the Program Manager population in the ES
Sector.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Px with Business
Development, Business Winning, Operations Proposal Group,
Contracts, Pricing, and other functions involved in proposals.
- Provide proposal planning and or execution support to proposal
teams across the ES Sector on an as needed basis
- Serve as the Px representative for any proposal or estimating
system internal/external audits.
- Serve as the Px expert for Proposal Management tailoring
applicable to bids.
- Provide thought and execution leadership to the development of
tool sets to automate and/or error proof Proposal Management
administrative tasks.
- Review Sector level B&P spend trends and identify areas to
improve the efficiency of B&P spend
- Assist with other Px initiatives or tasks on an as needed
basisBecause of the potential need to access export controlled and
other restricted data, this specific position requires US
citizenship status.#ProgramManagementRequired Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Proposal experience within the Aerospace and Defense
industry
- Demonstrated ability use business acumen to critically think
about project problems while leveraging the collective experience
of a project team to develop solutions
- Ability to develop and execute a schedule and subsequently
track status against that schedule
- Basic knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation
(FAR)
- Prior experience working with financial analysts to achieve the
financial objectives for the project
- Ability to lead cross functional teams (i.e. Engineering,
Operations, Finance, Business Development, Contracts, etc.) in the
execution of project tasks
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate,
and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and
suppliersPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Working knowledge developing proposals for new business
pursuits
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
preferred
- Experience with at least one of the following: subcontracts,
engineering, project management, contracts, operations, or
finance
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional organization
- Proven team collaboration and communication skills
- Looking for a candidate that is driven and result oriented
- Ability to initiate, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks
simultaneously

InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
