Job Title: Produce Associate Team LeaderJob Summary: We are
seeking a highly motivated and experienced Produce Associate Team
Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a key member of
our produce team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team
Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability,
expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory
compliance, and special projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Store Layout and Product Merchandising:
Create and maintain visually appealing store layouts and product
merchandising displays that meet company standards.
- Work with Team Leader to Achieve Sales, Purchasing, and Labor
Targets: Collaborate with the Team Leader to set and achieve sales,
purchasing, and labor targets, ensuring optimal store
performance.
- Assist Team Leader in Analysis of Sales, Reports, and Labor:
Provide data analysis and insights to the Team Leader to inform
business decisions and drive store growth.
- Demonstrate Advanced Product Knowledge and Develop Awareness of
New Products: Stay up-to-date on new products, ingredients, and
product lines, and share knowledge with team members to drive sales
and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain Good Vendor Relationships and Ensure Proper Paperwork
Submission: Foster strong relationships with vendors and ensure
timely submission of paperwork to facilitate smooth
operations.
- Work with Team Leader to Resolve Team Concerns or Issues:
Collaborate with the Team Leader to address team concerns and
resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Function as Point Person and Departmental Person in Charge in
Absence of Team Leader: Take on additional responsibilities and
provide leadership in the absence of the Team Leader, ensuring
seamless store operations.
- Set and Achieve Highest Standards of Retail Execution: Drive
sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain high
levels of retail execution, adhering to company standards.
- Foster Positive Environment of Outstanding Teamwork, Mutual
Respect, and Exceptional Morale: Promote a positive and inclusive
work environment, encouraging teamwork, respect, and exceptional
morale among team members.
- Maintain Awareness of Customer Flows and Needs and Direct Team
Members as Necessary: Monitor customer traffic and preferences,
directing team members as needed to ensure exceptional customer
service and satisfaction.
- Select, Train, Develop, Mentor, Motivate, and Counsel Team
Members: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members,
promoting growth, motivation, and job satisfaction.
- Provide Timely, Thorough, and Thoughtful Performance
Evaluations: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing

development.
