Come grow with us! We are seeking part-time Kennel Assitants to join our team. Shaker Animal Hospital is a busy multi-doctor practice with a variety of services offered including pet boarding and day care.The successful candidate will share our love of our patients and our loyal clientele while we provide the highest quality care to their pets. We stand by the philosophy that we treat each pet as if it was our own.The Kennel Assistant provides general care for our boarding dogs and cats (feeding, bathing, walking), cleans their enclosures and bedding, supervises playtime, supervises socialization of small play groups of dogs (never more than 3), and gives belly rubs and kisses.Shifts days are variable and can be on a set rotation or weekly schedule. Example shifts are 7am-11am Sunday through Saturday, 7am-3pm Sunday through Saturday, 2pm-8pm Sunday through Saturday and 4pm-8pm Sunday through Saturday. Starting hourly rate of pay is $15-$16.50 per hour depending on experience.If you are a current associate, you need to apply through our internal career site.
