In Flight Inc. is a nonprofit company that provides support services within a home environment and the community for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our agency. Please look at our website to get to know us. www.inflightinc.org In Flight's Community Hab department is looking for creative and self-motivated staff to work 1:1 with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities both at home and within the community. You must be able to relate positively to people with developmental disabilities and want to support their goals for a fulfilling life. This is a flexible, fun, and independent position!What you will be doing:

• Teaching new tasks
• Assisting in the creation and achievement of life goals
• Planning activities within the home and/or community
• Working independently while collaborating with other team members
• Accurately and promptly documenting services, using provided tablet.
  
  The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
  *Per Diem evenings, and weekends. Cases in Wallkill and Ellenville. $18.50 an hour- PAY INCENTIVES Available
  • Quarterly bonus- must average 20 hours per week per quarter to qualify for it.
    EXPERIENCE:
    • Working with Individuals that have IDD preferred but not required.
      Requirements:
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • Pass all NYS and OPWDD background clearances.
      • Attending a full multi-day orientation in Red Hook
      • USE OF YOUR OWN VEHICLE -Mileage reimbursement available for any transportation of the person(s) supported. In Flight is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Benefits are offered to positions of 30 hours or more.
        • 3 weeks PTO in the first year along with 56 hours of sick time
